In the meantime, everyone should check out this incredible French film, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. I’ve been watching it on repeat without the subtitles to try to improve my French every since my French tutor went back home.
Anticipation
Hello! It’s the 1st of June, and school is winding down, with finals just around the corner. I’m anxious awaiting to learn about my host family and host city, and I could find out anywhere from today to the middle of July. My exchange counterpart, Alex Decker, found out her host family and school today! She’s going on an exchange with Rotary, and they are a little speedier with the whole host family process. I’m happy for her, although also extremely jealous. Until then, I’ll be twiddling my thumbs nervously and studying my butt off for finals and the SAT’s. Au revoir!
